Q1         How do people get scammed in Goa?

A1          Manoj Soni,Director at Innvito DigitalPvt. Ltd.
(2021–present)Updated 2y

Hellopeople, so I along with a few of my friends been to Goa on this valentines
week(2021). We have booked a hotel nearby to Calangute beach and were enjoying
thevibes of goa.

Since most of you know that Goa isfamous for liquor, nuts, and clothingso, I
decided to buy 5KGKaju and 5Kg Almonds from there itself.

Onthe last day, I had a return bus scheduled for 5 Pm from Mapusa so at 10:30
Iwoke up got ready, and went around the beach and enquired about prices of
Kajuand Almond’s they were roughly around 550/- and 650/- per Kg respectively.

Ihave enquired about 10–12 shops and concluded that almost all the shops
havesimilar prices and have decided will buy at any shop after having my
breakfast.

Assoon I finished my breakfast, Opposite it, there was a shop named Patel Kaju
I entered the shop andasked him for the Kaju and Almonds he told Kaju 550/- kg
will make it 500/- Kg.So, I decided to take 5Kg Kaju and 5Kg Almonds.

Belowis the image of a 500G Kaju airtight packing you see the Kaju visible from
thetransparent area are pure white and the same size. I did not bother to open
thepacking and bought other 5Kg Almonds at 600/- Kg. He packed all the Kaju
andalmonds in a carry bag and handed it over to me.

Imade him the payment and moved on to the room. I had my lunch in the
roompacked my luggage and left Mapusa for my Hyderabad departure.

Thenext day by noon I reached home and unpacked the Kaju and this is how
theywere.

All the 10 packages had the same type of black(Rotten) Kaju and theywere also
tasting bad. Uponcleaning them and separating good Kaju from them, We got only
650 grams and have wasted the rest of it.

Moral of the story. :

Neverbuy anything packed from the State/City/Country we don’t belong to. Always
openthe package then and there.

Thankyou for reading. Hope thispost saves atleast a few people from getting
scam in such a way.

My note- We get quality kaju in supermarket@ 300-00 per 200 grams processed at
Panruti orChennai. Quality is excellent.

Q2         What are the traditional stories and legends about LordGanesh's role
as a mediator?

A2         Mageshkumar M,Sri Ganesh potri..19h

Lord Ganesha's role as a mediator andproblem solver is a prominenttheme in
several traditional stories and legends in Hindu mythology. Here are afew
notable ones:

1. **The Story of Lord Ganesha and Kubera'sPride**:

-In this story, Kubera, the god of wealth, invited Lord Shiva and
GoddessParvati to a grand feast at his palace. However, he did not extend the
sameinvitation to Lord Ganesha. **Hurt by this omission,Ganesha visited
Kubera's palace during the feast.

My note** There is version, LordSiva and Parvati had some inconvenience and
they send Ganesha

-Ganesha consumed all the food and wealth in Kubera's palace, leaving
nothingfor the guests. Kubera sought Lord Shiva's help to recover his lost
wealth.

- Lord Ganesha agreed to mediate andoffered to return Kubera's wealth if he
promised to treat all guests withhumility and respect. Kubera agreed, and
Ganesha returned the wealth.

2. **The Story of Lord Ganesha andthe Moon**:

-Once, the moon (Chandra) made fun of Lord Ganesha's appearance, which
upsetGanesha. As a result, **Ganeshacursed the moon, causing it to wax and wane.

-Realizing the consequences of his actions, the moon sought forgiveness from
Ganesha. Ganesha, knownfor his compassionate nature, agreed to reduce the
severity of the curse.

-Ganesha became a mediator between the moon and himself, allowing the moon to
wax andwane gradually over the course of a lunar month.

*** There is the version that KingDaksha cursed Moon to have no body since he
was partial with with his wife Rohini. King Daksha married 27 daughters
fromAswathi to Revathi, who are stars in the sky.

3. **The Story of Lord Ganesha and SageVyasa**:

-Sage Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharata, sought Ganesha's help
intranscribing the epic. Vyasa had a condition that Ganesha must understand
theverses completely before writing them down.

-During this process, if Vyasa paused to compose a difficult verse,
Ganeshawould use the time to contemplate the meaning of the previous verses.

-This collaborative effort between Vyasa and Ganesha resulted in the creation
ofthe epic Mahabharata, with Ganesha serving as a mediator and scribe.

These stories highlight Lord Ganesha'srole as a mediator, problem solver, and
guardian of dharma (righteousness).

He is known for his wisdom, compassion, andability to resolve conflicts,
making him a revered deity for those seekingguidance and solutions in various
aspects of life.

Q3         Did Adolf Hitler know about Albert Einstein?

A3         Health Daily Advice,8h

Yes, Adolf Hitler was aware of AlbertEinstein. During the early 20th century,
Einstein's ground breaking work inphysics, including the theory of relativity,
garnered international attentionand acclaim. Einstein's fame and contributions
to science made him awell-known figure, even outside of academic circles.
However, it isimportant to note that Hitler and Einstein had vastly different
perspectivesand beliefs. Hitler, as the leader of the Nazi regime, held
anti-Semiticviews and considered Einstein's work to be part of what he
called"Jewish physics." Hitler saw Einstein, who was of Jewish heritage, as
anenemy of the Nazi ideology.

In 1933, when Hitler rose to power inGermany,Einstein, who was living in Berlin
at the time, faced increasing persecutiondue to his Jewish background and his
outspoken criticism of the Nazi regime. As a result, Einstein made the
difficult decision to leave Germany andseek refuge in the United States.

Hitler's knowledge of Einstein's work and hissubsequent actions against him
were reflective of the hostile environmentcreated by the Nazi regime.
Einstein's departure from Germany was not only apersonal decision but also a
response to the rising anti-Semitism andpersecution that he and many others
faced.

Itis worth mentioning that while Hitler may have been aware of Einstein's
work, his understanding of the scientific concepts behind it is unclear.
Hitler'sviews on science were heavily influenced by his own ideological
beliefs, which often disregarded establishedscientific principles in favor of
pseudoscientific ideas that aligned with Nazipropaganda.

Inconclusion, yes, Adolf Hitler knew about Albert Einstein, but
theirinteractions were shaped by their differing beliefs and the historical
contextof the time.Einstein's contributions to science continue to be
celebrated and his legacyremains a testament to the power of intellectual
curiosity and the pursuit ofknowledge.

Q5         What are some facts about Thailand that most Thai don'tknow?

A5         Bennie,4h

Most Thais don’t know that Thailandhas a neighboring country that is green of
envy.I’ll show you 3 examples before revealing which country I’m talking about.

1. Traditional New Year

Myanmar,Thailand, Laos and Cambodia have a relatively similar way of
celebratingtraditional New Year in April but the names are a bit different.

2. Ramayana Masked Dance

Thisdance is widespread in Southeast Asia. Anyway, the design of the masks
fromCambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos shows close affinity.

3. Martial Arts

Thisis the list of martial arts from Mainland Southeast Asia that are
relativelysimilar: Bokator from Cambodia, Muay Thai from Thailand, Lethwei from
Myanmarand Muay Lao from Laos.

Here are the problems:

Despiterelatively similar cultures in 4 countries, many Cambodians only
accuseThailand of stealing, copying, or not acknowledging Khmer culture,
regardless of the origin of each culturalelement.

Cambodian netizens never or almost neverhave problems with Myanmar and Laos.

Many Cambodian netizens and(ultra)nationalists keep discrediting and insulting
Thailand, Thai ancestors, Thai people, the Thaimonarch, and the Thai education
system on Facebook, Quora and Reddit.

Final Thoughts

Now most Thais should know that many peoplefrom Cambodia, Thailand’s
neighboring country, continuously keep finding faultswith only Thailand and
theThai people because they’re jealous of Thailand’s
economic/social/culturaldevelopment, both consciously and subconsciously.

Therefore, those Khmers should learn how to spell the words “sanity” and
“remorse” becausethey don’t seem to know these concepts.

North Sentinel Island's indigenous peoplehave lived there for an estimated
60,000 years. The island is similar in size to Manhattan andis located in the
Indian Ocean.

The 80 to 150 individuals who live on theisland do not practice agriculture and
rely on hunting and gathering. Many attempts have been made tocontact them but
have been met with intense hostility.

In 1771, a ship from the East India Companysaw lights on the shore ofNorth
Sentinel Island but did not investigate further.

In 1867, an Indian merchant ship wasforced to land onthe island due to heavy
monsoons. After spending three days there, the crew was attacked with a
barrageof arrows. They defended themselves with basic weapons until the
RoyalNavy came to their rescue.

In 1880, the British returned to theisland and found a deserted village. They
kidnapped six Sentinelese natives, but all became ill when exposed to
theoutside world.

In 2018, an American Christianmissionary visited theisland to convert the
indigenous people. He encountered two armed Sentinelesewho approached him
aggressively.

Despitewarning shots, one of which struck his Bible, the missionary
continuedapproaching them, expressing love and religious beliefs. He was shot
with arrows andburied on the beach, with his body still unrecovered.
