1 Introduction

MokshaNarayana Bali is performed for the calming of the souls of the departed
and tofulfil their desires and thereby address Pitru Dosha. The puja is
performed by family members only.Moksha Narayanabali Puja or Vishnu Bali Puja
is described in the Garuda Purana.

2 Moksha Narayana Bali (Vishnu Bali) inGaya

PerformMoksha Narayana Bali at Gaya Kshetra with best Vedic and highly
experienced Panditsand Purohits from Pure prayer. Moksha Narayanabali is
performed for three days. The ritual is performed byfamilies to liberate souls
of their departed family members who met anuntimely death. Moksha Narayana Bali
is performed for the calming of thesouls of the departed and to fulfil their
desires and thereby address PitruDosha. The puja is performed by family members
only.

MokshaNarayanabali Puja or Vishnu Bali Puja is described in the Garuda Purana.
Out of the two main contents of the GarudaPurana, Purvakanda and Pretakanda,
the Narayana Bali Puja ritesare mentioned in the Pretakanda content.

TheNarayan Bali Puja is believed to help a person get rid of ancestral
curses,also known as Pitru Dosha.

Narayanabali Puja has to be performed when there are abnormal deaths, like
death bydisease, death by suicide, death by fasting, death by animals, death by
acurse, death by murder, death by drowning, by snake bite etc. This is
alsosuggested to get rid of obstacles in business, health problems,
education, marriage, accidental death, and also performed to get rid of problems
created by curses from mother, fatheror other family members.

Narayanabali Puja is similar to that ofthe procedures followed in a
funeral, wherein an artificial human body made out of wheat flour is used.
Mantraschanted during the puja invokes the remaining desires of the departed
souls. Itis believed the ritual allows them to possess the artificial bodyand
the funeral liberates them to theother world. The Nag Bali Puja helps the souls
get rid of their sins. For Nag Bali Puja, a snake made out of wheat dough is
used.

has existed since Treta Yugwhen Sita gave a boon that the tree would remain
immortal. It is locatedin the courtyard of Vishnupada temple.

7  Whathappens in Accidental Death? What are its effects?

Whena person’s death occurs due to unnatural causes, the Atma (soul) is

noefforts are made to provide salvation to such dissatisfied Atma (Soul),
theycurse the surviving generation or their kin. This is known as Pitra Shaap
