Artists who seek perfection in everything are those who cannot attain it in
anything.

Perfection

The Bhagavad Gita defines perfection as Yog or union with God and
simultaneously refers to the process of attaining this perfection also as
Yog. One who attains such union with God through the practice of Yog is
forever free from the afflictions of Shree Krishna's material energy Maya
such as anger, lust, greed etc.

However, this ultimate perfection of human life, one worth striving for in
every sense, is dependent on the grace of God. One grace, especially, is
the degree of hunger one has for God. This exists in varying amounts in
different people and often fluctuates with the challenges one must face on
the journey. For this reason, Divine Love or Bhakti is very difficult to
attain.

मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां
वेत्तितत्त्वतः ॥ Amongst thousands of persons, hardly one strives for
perfection; and amongst those who have achieved perfection, hardly one
knows me in truth. ||3||7th chap

At the same time, perfection in humans and and machines are not 100%
which is utopia; so striving for the perfection is the best ratio of
grooming the mind. The characters that were attributed to Purushotthaman is
as under: (and striving towards is a must)

1. Daya – Compassion - He was compassionate towards each and every being.
We can also impart this in our life by showing kindness and love towards
everyone.

2. Dhairya – Patience - Even in the time of biggest difficulties, Krishna
was patient. This Kala is most needed in today's world.

3. Kshama – Forgiveness - He even forgave the hunter who became the reason
for his departure from the earth.

4. Nyaya – Justice - Krishna always said to get justice instead of revenge.
He fought for justice, not for revenge.

5. Nirapeksha – Impartiality - Krishna was so impartial that when
Duryodhana asked for help he even helped him by giving Narayani (Sena)
Army, despite being the best friend of Arjun.

6. Niraskata – Detachment - Whether it was getting a shraap from durvasa
muni, or being seperated from Mata Rukmini for 12 years or his beloved son
being kidnapped or end of his clan, Lord Krishna always detached from
sorrow and joy.

7. Tapasya – Meditation and Spiritual Powers - Krishna is called Yogeshwar.
He meditated and did tapasya.

8. Aparchitta – Invincibility - Krishna always faced difficulties with
calmness and courage.

9. Danasheel – Bestower of all wealth in the world and nature - Lord
Krishna bestowed three worlds to sudama in return of handful of rice.

10. Saundaryamaya – Beauty Incarnate - Krishna is real beauty incarnate,
also character wise he is beautiful but a normal human being can imbibe the
beauty of character to receive real joy of life.

11. Nrityajna – Best of Dancers - Krishna danced on the hood of Kaliya Naag
(snake). When someone can dance in such a negative circumstance, one can
enjoy every bit of life. Dance does not come from the body, it is the
feature of soul embodied through heart and mind.

12. Sangitajna – Best of Singers - His flute has attracted not only people
but also the whole nature. 13. Neetiwadi – Embodiment of Honesty – Lord
Krishna always remained honest.

14. Satyawadi – Truth Itself - Krishna is embodiment of truth itself, but
who prevent us to become the same.

15. Sarvagnata – Perfect master of all arts, such as poetry, drama,
painting etc - Krishna is master of all arts but we can be the students of
these art forms at any stage of life.

16. Sarvaniyanta –Controller of All - Krishna is Sarvaniyanta, but we can
start with becoming Swayamniyanta (Controller of self) by learning.

Thus, striving for the perfection must be the motto of every
person and there he gains everything and nothing to lose.
