LIGHT SPEED

If an object tries to travel 186,000 miles per second, its mass becomes
infinite, and so does the energy required to move it. For this reason, no
normal object can travel as fast or faster than the speed of light.
According to Einstein- equation, mass and energy are the same physical
entity and can be changed into each other. Because of this equivalence, the
energy an object has due to its motion will increase its mass. In other
words, the faster an object moves, the greater its mass. This only becomes
noticeable when an object moves really quickly. If it moves at 10 percent
the speed of light, for example, its mass will only be 0.5 percent more
than normal. But if it moves at 90 percent the speed of light, its mass
will double. We covered the original question, but what if we tweaked it
to say, "What if you travelled almost as fast as the speed of light?" In
that case, you would experience some interesting effects. One famous result
is something physicists call time dilation, which describes how time runs
more slowly for objects moving very rapidly. If you flew on a rocket
traveling 90 percent of light-speed, the passage of time for you would be
halved. Your watch would advance only 10 minutes, while more than 20
minutes would pass for an Earthbound observer. In addition, you would
notice an extreme *Doppler effect*
<https://science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs-myth/everyday-myths/doppler-effect.htm>,
which would cause light waves from stars in front of you to crowd together,
making the objects appear blue. Light waves from stars behind you would
spread apart and appear red. The faster you go, the more extreme this
phenomenon becomes until all visible light from stars in front of the
spacecraft and stars to the rear become completely shifted out of the known
visible spectrum (the colours humans can see). When these stars move out of
your perceptible wavelength, they simply appear to fade to black or vanish
against the background.

Scientists officially announced Friday (Sept. 23) that subatomic
particles called neutrinos may be passing the ultimate speed limit, zooming
at a velocity faster than light. But according to Einstein's special theory
of relativity, nothing can cross this barrier. So either the measurements
are incorrect, or physicists must revise many trusted theories.

Turns out, the results were likely flawed, according to a growing
scientific consensus some six months after the discovery was announced.
Even so, here are 10 implications of faster-than-light travel. The
speed-of-light rule represents the backbone of Einstein's 1905 special
theory of relativity. This law does away with the concept of absolute
velocity, and instead says that motion is relative. Except for light, that
is. All observers, no matter what their own speed, will measure the speed
of light at a constant 299,792,458 meters per second (about 700 million
miles an hour). This speed represents the fastest that anything can travel,
an absolute upper limit on motion. The new findings threaten to overturn
this trusted law. "According to relativity, it takes an infinite amount of
energy to make anything go faster than light," said physicist Robert
Plunkett of the Fermilab laboratory in Batavia, Ill. "If these things are
[mov If the neutrinos really are traveling faster than light, then they
should be time travellers.

The particles could theoretically arrive somewhere before they
departed. Physicists suggest such an ability, if it really existed, could
be used to send neutrinos back in time to deliver messages. [going faster
than light], then these rules would have to be rewritten." A fundamental
law of physics, indeed of all science, is causality: that cause always
precedes effect. This was accepted in classical physics, and the special
theory of relativity took pains to preserve the rule, despite the
relativity of an object's motion. But if something can travel faster than
light, it can travel backward in time, according to the theory. In this
case, an "effect" could travel back to a point before its "cause" had
occurred — for instance, a baby swinging before he gets a push. Such a
result would be scientific heresy, surely requiring some hasty rewriting of
laws to make sure causality is preserved. "Most of the theoretical
structure that's been erected in the 20th century has relied on this
concept that things have to go slower than the speed of light," Plunkett
said. "As I understand it if you have anything traveling faster than the
speed of light you can have things happening before their causes." {KR:
This physics theory keeping light speed as on top with mass and speed
becoming infinity, is a cause , causing the effect of setting a standard;
as that which can run more than light speed can turn back is also only a
presumption; if neutrino can do; if some other may do ‘if consciousness can
do; then TIME STOPS; THAT IS WHAT ANCIENT SCRIPTURE SAID IN BRAHMAM THE
TIME STOPS. Reversal as a time machine can be focussed as today science
thinks in linear terms; however, in a cyclic pattern, we are passing
through our old births but we are unaware of it. In B G Krishna says only
that: YOU AND I WERE HERE BEFORE:

  *न* *त्वेवाहं* *जातु* *नासं* *न* *त्वं* *नेमे* *जनाधिपाः* *|*
*न* *चैव* *न* *भविष्याम**: **सर्वे* *वयमत**: **परम्* *|| **12**||2*

*na tvevaham jatu nasam na tvam neme janadhipah na chaiva na bhavishyamah
sarve vayamatah param*

*BG 2.12*: Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all
these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.

Thus, time and space are concepts of subjectivity; Einstein will
fail not from theory but from maths derivation, which needs something more;
infinity is not without number; it is a number which we are not aware of;
so as long as there is a wide space to run, speed can vary; and einstein
says mass weight will increase so more energy needed; but Ramyana speaks of
Hanuman shrinking and stretching the mass but increasing the speed; so
physics will alter its nomenclature later.

As far as the beam of light yes, it is good to be; but a beam of
light is a conditioning; and any binding is a torture; so, spread the beam
of light far and wide as the SUN. And Einstein who says that one needs
infinite weight and energy to reach light speed, forgot that light has no
weight and nil energy to travel at that speed; means, concept has weakness
in M and E and needs something plus. Can body of weight 200 kgs become
lightweight? Yes, in YOGA it was made possible to raise the body in the air
and walk on the water. Be a LITE LIGHT KR IRS 29324
