Quoraanswers need not be 100% correct answers .Compiled andposted by R. Gopala krishnan, on 12-05-2024 Q1 Is it true that when a wild animal tastes human flesh,it starts to get a taste of it? A1 AlexandraPierce, Property Manager at STYL (2022–present)May 6 Yes. It is true! But the real question is why. Why do animalslove human meat after they’ve tried it? It’s very clear it happens. In India, after a terribledisease outbreak, they threw the bodies into the jungle. A leopard began eatingthe dead bodies. After the outbreak passed and no more dead bodies were yeetedinto the jungle, the leopard went looking for more. One leopard snuck into a farm, walked right past all thegoats and chickens, and instead attacked and killed the sleeping 14-year-oldboy who was meant to guard the livestock. I’ve been looking all over but I can’t find why. In thisleopards case, he could’ve easily taken a goat much quicker than looking forthe human. But he ignored them in favor of the human. Why? What is it abouthuman flesh than makes animals crave it once they’ve tasted it? I keep finding answers as to why animals end up eatinghumans, but nothing as to why they continue to exclusively do so after exceptthat it’s a thing. it’s why animals that have eaten a person must be culled. They will do it again once they’ve done it. I wish I knew why. It’s one of those questions I’ll neverhave an answer to and it keeps me up at night. I guess I’ll just have to assume human flesh is just thetastiest meat out there. Q2 What would happen if chlorine wasn’t put in swimmingpools? A2 IdaKern,Lived in Arbutus, Maryland (1988–2017)Updated Mar 7 Heres a story about no chlorine in a pool that I witnessedwhile living in my old hood. My next door neighbors got their townhouse foreclosed on andhad to move out. As soon as they left, the hillbilly neighbors across the alleyrummaged through my former neighbor's shed to see if they had left anythingdecent behind. They found an inflatable swimming pool that was about 3 foothigh, similar to the one below. They immediately claimed it, blew it up and filled it withwater in their back yard. The prior owners must have taken the pump that went with thepool. The hillbilly neighbors did not bother to go buy one, nor any chemicals.I don't know if they didn't know any better or were simply too poor or toolazy. The first few days, all was well with their newfound pool.Their son had a few friends over and they all had a grand old time playing init. A few days in, we had a thunderstorm and that water turned murky.Their kiddidn't have the common sense to stay out of it and still swam in it every day. That water quickly turned green with floating algae and I feared for his well-being. By the end of week 2, the water was dark and scary looking. It actually started to stink and I envisioned a dead animal had fallen in therefrom the smell of it. The kid finally got the hint and left it alone by thispoint. The lazy parents couldn't be bothered to take it down, dump it or cleanit. They simply left it there. That nasty pool stayed up for over a month. It legit reekedlike a dumpster full of rotting crabs on a hot summers day. The smell wouldslap me in the face whenever I had to go out to get in my car. I finally called the county and they made them take it down Q3 What are some of the best places in the world to travelto? It's primarily to help visually impaired persons find thecenter of the keypad and work their way around it. Edit - That bump can also be found on several otherelectronic devices like calculators and remote controls which isn'tspecifically for visual impaired people but for people to navigate the buttonsin dark situations. The same goes for the phones as well. Q5 What is the simplest math problem that most people can'tsolve, and why? A5 AdamShakur, Studying mathematics Feb 26 There was this math question that circulated when I was inSenior High School. The scenario is as follows: Two people, let's call themPeter and George, were traveling with loaves of bread of equal length andweight. Peter had 5 loaves, and George had 3 loaves. They met Paul, andtogether, they shared and enjoyed the bread equally. Afterward, Paul generouslygave them $8. The question is, how much will each person receive based on thebread they contributed? Solving this question requires careful consideration. Theanswer is not Peter = $5 and George = $3, but rather, Peter = $7 and George =$1. Here's the breakdown:The total number of loaves is 8. Sincethere are three people, divide each loaf into three equal parts, resulting in24 equal parts. Each person will eat 8 pieces. Considering Peter's contribution, he will have 15 pieces, andGeorge will have 9 pieces. When Peter takes his 8 pieces, he will be left with7 pieces contributing to Paul. For George, out of his 9 pieces, if he takes 8,he will contribute 1 piece to Paul. So, based on their contributions, Peterwill contribute 7 pieces and George will contribute 1 piece, hence the answerabove. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
