CULTURAL QA 06202401

Q1 Was there a time where we, as a species, almost went extinct?

Q Ung-Jin Kim,Former Biologist, Director of Human Genome Center at
California Institute of Technology (Caltech) (1989–2019)Updated Mar 29

KR He is revealing a theory; just a theory that is supposed to have
occurred in the volcanic belt even today in Indonesia, scattering all over
the ashes. Yet even the world of science had not made it absolute. The
fault of misunderstanding as an answer rendered, squarely lies over the
wrong reader and reporting. All over the web sites TOBA is there.

The truth and the lies about Toba eruption and extinction theory

The Toba eruption and its potential role in human evolution and extinction
is a topic that has generated significant scientific debate and
*speculation.* Here's an overview of some of the truths and misconceptions
surrounding the Toba eruption and its connection to extinction theories:

Truths: Toba Eruption: The Toba eruption occurred approximately 74,000
years ago on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. It was one of the largest
volcanic eruptions in the last two million years, with a Volcanic
Explosivity Index (VEI) of 8, making it a super-eruption. Climate Impact:
The eruption likely had significant global climate effects, including a
temporary cooling of the Earth's climate due to the release of large
amounts of ash, sulphur dioxide, and other gases into the atmosphere.
This *could
have* led to a volcanic winter, affecting global temperatures and weather
patterns for several years. Genetic Bottleneck: *Some *genetic evidence
suggests a *significant* reduction in human population size around the time
of the Toba eruption, leading to the hypothesis of a genetic bottleneck.
This idea proposes that the eruption *may have led to* a severe reduction
in the human population, potentially affecting the genetic diversity of
Homo sapiens.

Misconceptions: Extinction Event: While the Toba eruption is often cited
as a potential cause of a human population bottleneck, there is ongoing
debate among scientists about its actual impact on human populations and
whether it led to a near-extinction event. Some studies suggest that human
populations may have been resilient and adaptable enough to survive the
climatic effects of the eruption. Sole Cause of Extinction: The Toba
eruption is unlikely to have been the sole cause of any extinction event,
including the extinction of other hominin species such as Homo erectus or
Homo neanderthalensis. Multiple factors, including climate change,
competition with other species, and human behavioural adaptations, likely
played roles in the extinction of various species. Impact on Evolution:
While the Toba eruption may have had some impact on human populations and
genetic diversity, its precise role in human evolution is still uncertain.
Some researchers propose that the eruption may have influenced human
migration patterns or cultural developments, but direct evidence for these
hypotheses is limited. In summary, the Toba eruption was a significant
volcanic event with potential global climate impacts, but its exact role in
human evolution and extinction remains a subject of ongoing scientific
investigation and debate. It's essential to critically evaluate the
evidence and consider multiple factors when discussing the Toba eruption
and its implications for human history.

It is also written in a similar frame, if so, why such Q and A at all? It
is spoken as if Amazon Forest is cropped up. On the contrary we have our
scriptures narrating the evolution and involutions explained as Srishti,
Stuthi and Samharam. Think before you ink please.

Q2 What happens when you don't put your phone on airplane mode
on an airplane, and you use the wifi?

KR Another waste Q and A. Any phone will not show the welcome
message in each halt sir; international roaming access must be there.
Suppose you are using only BSNL, it will not show any welcome message other
than Chennai for example. Q is PURPOSE OF AIRPLANE MODE.

Airplane mode is a feature found on most smartphones and other electronic
devices that disables their wireless communication abilities. Its
primary purpose
is to ensure that electronic devices comply with airline regulations during
flights. Here are some specific reasons for using airplane mode:

Airplane mode prevents electronic devices from *emitting radio frequency
signals that could potentially interfere with aircraft communication* *and
navigation systems*. This interference could disrupt important flight
operations and compromise safety. Many airlines and aviation authorities
require passengers to switch their electronic devices to airplane mode
during take-off and landing and throughout the flight. This requirement is
intended to minimize the risk of interference and ensure compliance with
safety regulations. (Tower communication to plane interruptions). Disabling
wireless connections in airplane mode can help conserve battery life, as
the device no longer actively searches for cellular networks, Wi-Fi
signals, or Bluetooth connections. This can be particularly useful during
long flights when access to charging outlets may be limited. Airplane mode
can also serve as a way to reduce distractions and promote a quiet and
focused environment during flights. By disabling incoming calls, messages,
and notifications, passengers can enjoy uninterrupted time for work,
reading, or relaxation. When traveling internationally, using airplane mode
can prevent roaming charges from cellular networks in foreign countries. By
disabling cellular connections, users can avoid unexpected fees for data
usage or phone calls while abroad.

Q3 Does money make you happy?

KR It does not depend; it is not making anyone happy if it
overflows. All our Vedas do teach us only that which alone I had been
writing; nd after reading all a Q and A that too with a response of an
ignorant asked to portray an aanmeekam guru?

Q The evidence has changed a lot in the last 10–15 years.

KR Evidence of happiness in 2009 and not now? So many rishis
lied?

Q Before the financial crisis, many studies showed increased happiness
until you hit mid-income, then it stagnated.

KR: Which country's answer is this? Financial crisis? USA or India?

Q Seems common sense. If you only eat rice daily and become
middle-class, it improves your health, wealth, and everything else if you
use it correctly.

KR Money only to eat rice and rice keeps oneself in health?

Q However, what difference does it make once you are at `that level`?
The difference between $60,000 and $600,000 is just more choices - a 5-star
hotel instead of a 4-star or earlier retirement if you are frugal - hardly
life-changing.

KR See he teaches Americans and you whom as if unknown; even at USA
not now. $600000 can afford 5 star but 60000 can never access 4star every
time.

Q However, the financial crisis led many economists to change their
minds, as even the relatively small declines in income seen in developed
countries (often 5%-10%) resulted in more unhappiness.

KR USA is ridden with mania crisis so they join YOGA and Isckons as LIFE
OF THEIR WEDDING, OFFICE ETC ARE NOT GOOD. Happiness is within and if I
talk to them that line, they are surprised. IMMATURED BRAINS have only a
mundane thought.

Q I tend to think that it is more because of anxiety about the future
than the money itself.

KR Even a maniac owns a car so it is not without money;but
psychological upsets of control og their freedom, though appearances of
freedom are created.

Q So it depends on how you use money.

KR Also incoming with a purpose

Q If you use money to do these things, it is unlikely to make you happy:

You use the money to try to impress people you don't even like on
Instagram!

Over-consumption.

You are wealthy but don't have your health. You get sick chasing money!

But using money in this way may help:

You use the money to travel. That, in turn, gives you memorable
experiences. Recently, I went on an African safari via this company -
Customized, Luxury, African Safaris

(I have no affiliation with them apart from being a happy customer).

The experience sure beat spending money on physical things!

2. Pursue your passions

3. Support charities you love

4. You use the money to help family and friends

5. You have enough money to have financial freedom

The last point is key.

Money shouldn’t be about numbers on a screen.

It should be having options and freedom.

KR The outlook of US citizens is a confided thinking; thence they look
into India for mental Balance and stability,

Q4 What can Brahmins do to stop or reduce the Brahmin bashing?

KR Leave one sect; IS THERE BASHING ON THIS EARTH; IF YES BRAHMIN
IS ALSO ONE AMONG THEM. IF NOT, IT IS A LIE. The Mylapore incident was
rare; and all Brahmins cannot be said as bashed up. Then why all Brahmins
vote DMK then? After all, bashing within a group is escalated by the author
himself which is scattered all over in the decades. We are not bashed up.
We are shifting our gear. And we are not afraid of the intenders. If at all
we can file a case in the court that we are not Brahmin by caste, even the
irregular distribution will stop. LET US BE BRAHMINS BY VARNA AND NOT AS
CASTE.
