Hi Dave...

The problem that you are experiencing is most likely related to a
soundcard calibration issue. MT63 is very critical to soundcard
calibration. If you are copying some stations but others are running
together, the only way you will know for sure is to check your
calibration against WWV.

MixW lets you check the "receive" calibration by using SSTV and WWV.
If you tune to WWV in SSTV mode look at your verticle line on the
screen. If this line slants either way, your receive soundcard
calibration is off. You can adjust it easily enough by using the left
and right arrow keys until you get as close to vertical a line as
possible. Once you get your WWV signal line vertical, you apply the
settings to the software.

This procedure is explained within the MixW software under "soundcard
calibration". This procedure "only" adjusts your "receive" and not
the "transmit". You will need to use another program called "CheckSR"
to adjust the transmit side of the software...

Also, remember, it might not be your station that is out of
calibration... It could be the transmitting station... It's best to
check yours and make sure you're in calibration...
