Ziwar Muhammad Isma'il, is a Christian Kurd living in the northern part
of Iraq - where Sadaam Hussein’s policies have been especially harsh. But
even in the face of his Muslim governments’ cruelty - Ziwar was extremely
bold and open about his faith.
Now his boldness has cost him the ultimate price. Ziwar was killed
recently in the city of Zakho after he refused to denounce Christianity
and return to Islam.
