I agree, but Therion should allow differing units for tape and dimensions (and depth and co-ordinates etc) to be used in the same centreline if they are specifically defined by the user. Perhaps a NZ caver will visit the USA, have to use an imperial tape measure, but estimate LRUD in metric??? Bruce
