Too late. In any case I don't think it looks like a bug. I think the difference is a good thing, it gives valuable drawing options and the -visibility off for walls seems to be consistent behaviour with -visibility off for other line types.
I'm not sure it affects clipping unless wall subtype outline is none. Testing would to be good, just to be sure.
