Thanks Martin So without actually trying that, is it possible to have multiple script systems (beyond the 5 <ss> <it> etc variations) in play at once? ie the latin/roman I am typing this message in and Hindi script system? लघु
And if so, how do we choose which is in use, or switch script system mid-string, since Hindi is not a language Therion has ‘built in’, so presumably <lang:hi> might not work? Cheers Bruce PS: I did find this post which might be helpful to me down the track https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg09123.html From: Therion <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Martin Budaj Sent: Monday, 2 December 2024 07:24 To: List for Therion users <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Therion] Hindi font in Therion label or header text string It should work if you set up ttf/otf fonts covering Hindi in therion.ini using "pdf-fonts" keyword. It may be written in the documentation, but regarding fonts I’m naïve and inexperienced :) I want to write लघु (ie laghu, means small in Hindi) in a map header along with some English text. My backup strategy is to include a bitmap as a map-image.
