What did I say about QGIS having a steep learning curve??
I finally did figure this out. The key point I was missing is that
"QGIS Resource Sharing" is NOT the Therion symbols and styles. It is
the tool which can install the Therion symbols and styles.
"QGIS Resource Sharing" was easy to install from the QGIS menu for
managing plugins. It shows up as a new item under the Plugins pull-down
menu. Once it is launched, you have to install a new repository. The
repository URL is what Xavier sent out in his first missive. Repeating
here for documentation purposes:
https://github.com/Alex38Lyon/QGis_Therion
The last step is to install the collection from the new repository.
Now I need to figure out how to use the styles.

Hi,
Yes, this is this one. You should normally be able to directly connect to the
github repo. This is not in the official QGIS repositories, but there is an
option where you can give the link to a custom repository.

Xavier

Hi Xavier -
Nice! Except that I cannot figure out how to install this plugin. When I search plugins
in QGIS, the closest I find is called "QGIS Resource Sharing" and has this
description:
"Search for published collections and install them for use with QGIS. Symbology
(SVG, images, styles), Processing scripts, Processing models, R scripts and checklists
are supported. There are several options for repositories: Github, Bitbucket, local file
system and HTTP(S)."
The authors listed do not include either you or Alexander Pont
Is this the right plugin?

Dear all,
Some months ago, I told you that Alex Pont and me were working on setting GIS
solution using shapefiles exported from Therion. Since some days, we have
uploaded on GitHub the styles we are applying in QGIS for the shapefiles that
we export from Therion. You will find them here :
https://github.com/Alex38Lyon/QGis_Therion.
You should install them in QGIS with the plugin : QGIS Ressources Sharing.
Feel free to use it !
Doing that, we have found that some informations given in the th2 are missing
in the shapefiles produced by Therion. An issue has been open there :
https://github.com/therion/therion/issues/635
Cheers,
Xavier
