man i was psyched to have the slip at my school, though i was kind of disappointed with how some of the crowd was acting. i was in the gym all day setting up the speakers and lights and stuff and got to ride around in the tour van and pick up take out and go backstage and all sorts of other good things. the show was really tight, but these guys are way too good to play this short a set. what a tease. gemini is quickly becoming one of my favorites. i'm glad they're playing it again. aptos started with andrew on an instrument i don't know the name of. it was basically a wooden cylinder with a hole in the bottom with a coil of wire thorough it. he did most of the work with his fingers on the bottom but got some incredible grating sounds out of pulling the spring though. love & tears was a treat. brad on the 12-string with a nice slide solo. no "drop in the water" lyrics though. the untitled was an instrumental one they've been playing a lot lately. it was the one near the end of the second set at rhodes --------------------------------------- ** We welcome your thoughtful comments - especially newbies!.
