OK, I posted this yesterday, but I think I only sent it to Dennis.

We're trying to put together a setlist for 10/30/99 the second Halloween show at the Ocean Club Roller Rink.  I know scads of people on this list were there (you know who you are, especially if you had ONE rhinestone glove on....), but so far Fred and I have only got about six songs.  I think we agree that the only Slip tunes played that night were Solomon, Johnny's and Dogs (The last two featuring Brad offstage playing through a wireless rig, Johnny's had him on roller skates).

The opener was (almost certainly) Hell's Bells (AC/DC).
Solomon was followed by Celebration! (Kool & the Gang).
Tempted by the Fruit of Another (Squeeze),
You Can Call Me Al (Paul Simon) (with a little Marc smirk after he nailed that bass lick),
and I'm pretty sure Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Jordan Dann aka Cyndi Lauper)
all fell in there somewhere.

The rest is pretty blurry, but I got by with a little help from my friends that night, so it's not too surprising.

Looking back at the archive for this list, it appears that the illustrious Jim Crichton taped, and the tape of the first set may have been of questionable quality.

If anyone has any memories (however hazy) or even (dare to dream) a recording, please send them this way.  You might even just post to this list, it might jog some memories, and we all know we're not flooding anybody's inbox.

If anybody does have a tape, I guarantee it will make its way to Oz (Booth permitting), and likely other distribution devices (I'll run a tree if there's enough interest).

Ok, if you read this far and you want any of these, drop me a line:

11/23/02 Montreal (the "Stopped at the border" show, BAM on borrowed gear)
11/30/01 Waterville (?) Maine (Marc solo W/ or W/out You)
10/31/03 Boston (Halloween antics, Happiness is a Warm Gun)

??/??/67 Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys ("Pete" Rowan on guitar)

Oh, and don't forget to read up on composting toilets.
