Well, I can personally state that Michael Dell is not the first person who thought about using G+ Hangout for customer support. I invited my personal technical consulting business, EC Technology Consulting, to Google+ and now have an account there (http://bit.ly/rjcnq4) and was considering using Hangouts that way for some of my clients. Of course, that only works if your clients are on G+.
