Is there a mechanism in Thinking Sphinx that would allow me to have an sql_range_step of 100,000 for the core index and 1,000,000 for the delta?
I could achieve the same effect by manually modifying the sphinx.conf but if I do that I have to either remember that it's there and monitor it or retool so that any time it gets generated it also gets modified.
