You'll need to set the address in your config/thinking_sphinx.yml file - and 
perhaps mysql41 too, if it's running on something other than the default port.

Please note that this is not going to work unless you're using the same 
database and models across the two apps - as Sphinx stores model names and 
primary keys, and then instantiates the corresponding ActiveRecord objects. Of 
course, if you're just using the raw query data, then it could very well be 
useful.
