Yeah, I thought max_matches might have been what I wanted, but it doesn't
seem to have any effect :
>> ThinkingSphinx::Search.search('the', limit: 1)
Sphinx Query (418.0ms) the
Sphinx Found 511239 results
>> ThinkingSphinx::Search.search('the', limit: 1, max_matches: 1)
Sphinx Query (409.1ms) the
Sphinx Found 511241 results
I'd also be curious to see if adding these small overly common words to the
