Ah, I should be clear: the delta flag should remain 1 (or true, for those using PostgreSQL) until you run ts:index - it doesn't get removed from the delta index until that point.
When you create a new record, after a few seconds is it present when you search? Can you run us through your examples for both creating a new record and then searching for it, and updating a record and then searching for it?
