Hi Max

The set_property method within an index definition can be used for changing 
enable_star and min_infix_len and other such settings on a per-index basis.

  ThinkingSphinx::Index.define :article, :with => :active_record do
    indexes foo

    set_property :enable_star => true
  end

This could certainly be better described in the documentation.
