The pen has stopped working on my X61t in tablet mode. In other words, when
I rotate the screen it no longer responds to the pen (whether or not I
actually flop the screen down onto the keyboard). The pen works fine when
the screen is in normal laptop mode, even when the screen is rotated up to
around 175 degrees, but in that last few degrees the tablet functions
disappear.
This is OS independent; same behavior in Xubuntu.
My guess is that there is some cabling issue in the screen pivot/hinge. Is
there anything I can do about this, or do I need to send it in? I really
need the tablet function right now, if I have to send it in and use another
laptop it will make a serious dent in my productivity on something I'm
working on.
