Some power manager setting?
One of my machines does this if I shut down on battery power, even if I
switch on plugged in.

Recently, my X301-XP-Pro turns on with the LCD brightness at the lowest
setting. Even when I make it bright, next time it is back to dim. I'm
sure I must have changed something but haven't a clue what it might be.
Anyone have any bright ( ;-) ) ideas?
