The new Lenovo Systems ToolBox is the replacement for PC Doctor.
Unfortunately, it is a Windows program, but it should be able to
diagnose any hardware problem.

Hi
this's my first e-mail.
I have thinkpad x61 with Ubuntu intrepid.
Some days ago it fell to the ground from 60-70 cm
while it was on.
First everything seem to be ok, but soon I start to
realize that thinkpad overheat.
By tool "sensor" I have detected that,
i.e. when I start 2 o 3 streaming video at the same time,
temp1: +95.0°C (crit = +127.0°C)
temp2: +92.0°C (crit = +99.0°C)
I don't try to force it becaus I'm afraid to fuse it.
For you where is the problem?
I open thinkpad and it seems that 2 fans are ok.
Thanks a lot for your help.
best regards
f.t.
