My first comment is that not all zip file creators are equal.  At least once
one of my users got a zipped file which wasn't readable in Windows, but
I could see it just fine with unzip in OpenBSD.  I've also seen two cases of
WinZip getting weird and not working quite right.   Reinstalling it fixed
things but I have no idea why.

The larger issue here is that no one is perfect, and dealing with complex
systems like computers--especially Windows--is going to create a multitide
of thoughts on things and they aren't all going to agree with other.

I've appreciated the comments that RayBay has contributed.  No, I have
not agreed with him 100%, but I listen to what he says because he deals
with larger quantities of hardware than I do and has a good sense of things,
I think.

Questioning RB because of a problem unzipping makes no sense.  Wait
'till YOU have some odd, seemingly trivial problem thats driving you buggy...
