Oh, no.  Mine are special experimental machines.  The X41 is a strange drive
shape anyway, and it is slower, but it is IDE.

They were installed for us... and do have WXPP
The T42 has a little red gadget that converts the SATA drive to IDE.  It
causes the drive to stick out of the computer case not quite a half inch..
the gadger is like a small red circuit card with a wire and cable looped out
of the top... I'll send photos when I am allowed to remove it.  The drives
do not have to be the same size as a current laptop hard drive.

The Lexar drives are all SATA, and so will be the Intels... but this X41
drive is made in China..

Rumors are that there will be PATA and IDE drives if there is the demand
they expect, as the PATA replacement market in laptops should be huge.
