If:
- you have a fingerprint reader guarding (or easing) your security, and
- you always require a password after hibernating or suspend, and
- you have found that the fingerprint prompt is S-L-O-W when you turn your
computer
back on, and
- you suspend/hibernate by closing the lid,
then you may be able to speed up restarting with this tip:
Lock your PC(e.g. with Winkey-L) before closing the lid.
The slowness seems to be because the fingerprint device is woken up last of all.
This puts all the security software in RAM, and speeds up return.
