Disregard, turns out to be a mouse control application actually written by
one of our very own Thinkpad Listers.

Subject: [Thinkpad] Keyboard keys on T60 undesirably controls mouse

Greetings List,

I've googled this issue 'til I'm exhausted patience. The articles I seem to
find, offer to "cause this to happen" not eliminate it.

I upgraded the drivers and Intellipoint sw of my external MS mouse several
weeks ago.

Now, ever time I boot up, two separate groups of keys of the keyboard have
control of the mouse. Almost as though numlock was on and controlling BOTH
left side of the keyboard and the right side.

Popping the batteries out of the mouse for a few seconds then replaces,
remedies the problem but is getting very annoying.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem is (aside from not using an
external mouse)?

Thanks,
Dave
