definately, although the T42 is one of my all time faves. Great keyboard, thin and lite, nice LCD. Too bad they couldn't just put in a Core Duo board. AND, it has a printer port too! ----- Original Message ----- From: "TK" <[email protected]>

But just to start a controversy, it is looking more and more (to me) that M$ got it right with XP SP2 (not too much experience with SP3 as most of the customers want SP2 for software reasons) and 7 could be as big of a bomb as Vista. I mean, I just don't see the point, XP is proven, solid and stable and does all kinds of neat tricks. As usual, its about the money.

I'm with you on this. XP SP2 is the best thing they've done, and I can totally live with it. I dread the coming influx of Windows 7-only software.

But my overall impression is that the T61 is built about equal to the T60, and so far they have been very good for my customers. In fact, I don't recall one warranty issue with a T60 that I set up.

Is the T6x a good T4x replacement?
