My Thinkpads all charge with solid green LEDs when then battery is nearly fully charged - maybe over 95% but I don't remember the exact limit. Try running your battery down to 50% and then start to recharge it to see a fuller spectrum of the LED charging indicator displays. To see the entire spectrum you will need to discharge below your Critical Battery Alarm setting - maybe 5% - and perhaps you won't want to put that much wear onto your battery just to see a pretty light show.
