If you're still running XP or lower, Windows "SendTo" Powertoy allows you to
copy file/folder paths to the Windows Clipboard whereby you can then paste
this into whatever.

In Windows Virus (uh, Windows Vista) you can select the file(s)/folder(s)
you wish, hold the [Shift]key and in the "right click" context menu look for
"Copy as path"

That doesn't seem to copy all the contents (recursively) -- but I didn't know about shift-right-click, and that certainly makes it easier to get the command prompt to the right directory!
