I headed down to Lenovo to retrieve my notebook, they had finished the
repair. You may recall, this was a Flexview screen that would dim after
being on for progressively shorter intervals.
They replaced the LCD screen, the cable and the modem (probably succumbed to
lack of activity). I am grateful to all the help and very grateful to be
back on the Flexview screen after two weeks on an x60, quite the difference.
BTW, what would be the best contemporary TP with a somewhat comparable
screen (in terms of brightness and clarity, size is less important.)
