No, that isn't what I meant (at least, I don't think so) - I meant that, if
the ThinkPad screen is logically to the right of one of the other monitors,
the top right corner of the other monitor "meets" the top left corner of the
ThinkPad screen. Because of the physical relationship, it feels like it
should be bottom right to bottom left. At least, it did to me. The net is
that I'd move the cursor from the bottom right of the big screen, trying to
move it onto the ThinkPad screen, and nothing would happen, because the
ThinkPad screen is logically smaller.

Or am I either (a) misinterpreting what you wrote, or (b) missing a feature?
I did have to play with the screens to get them in the right order (nice
that you can do this with Windows, instead of having to move them around on
the desk! I always wonder how many folks don't know that, keep moving
monitors.especially older, heavy ones!)

You can re-organize where the cursor moves from screen to screen in the
Display Resolution control panel. Just drag and drop the monitors around on
a virtual canvas.

I have a T410 with the onboard graphics and the docking station: it will
drive the two external screens, but NOT the ThinkPad screen itself at the
same time.

I now have a lovely T420s with the NVIDIA graphics, and it will drive all
three.

The only weird part is that the cursor comes into the ThinkPad screen from
the TOP of the (much larger) monitor next to it. Since the ThinkPad is
smaller and lower, it *feels* like it should come in from the bottom, so it
took me a while to get used to being able to move to the ThinkPad screen
without taking several tries. If that makes no sense, trust me, you'll grok
it if you tried it :-)

Anyway, it's a nice setup.
