My experience differed from these numbers The A21p as received showed 384 mb and when I replaced one 128 mb stick with a 256, it read 512.
The A20m when last used read 512 mb, now when I put the stick back in it reads "261, 616 kb" (does not report on bootup) I recall many years ago there was a procedure to enter the BIOS to force some action. Can anyone remember? Jeffrey Race --Original Message Text--- From: Ray Bay Date: Thu, 23 Aug 2012 10:51:19 -0700 Depends on your type number. Now I put it back in A20 but System reports only "261, 616 kb". Do I have to do something to force it to inventory and install the memory chip? Something else I've forgotten or doing wrong? I'm no familiar with this series so will appreciate any help Jeffrey Race _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad -- ...ee ....eee .....eeee ......eeeee _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
