So my wife's A31 did something sad yesterday. It's nine+ years old so it isn't unexpected, but I think it's dead.
When powered up, there are vertical stripes of various colors, then the screen becomes white from the bottom up. I had a backup A31 so this isn't exactly a tragedy, but I am curious if this is a known failure mode? I'm familiar with the bad video ram problem, but this isn't it.
