Browser architecture is not my area of expertise; all I know is that for me, 
80% of browser issues (especially those where a browser suddenly stops 
finding a web page) can be cured by these two steps.  (The rest trace back 
to the degree to which I have my browsers armored against flash, scripting, 
etc.)
