Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.  I think my patches handle the write path 
acceptably without the need for an option.  An option for the read path should 
be pretty easy.  It will take some more work to get it to work for the 
accelerator module, but Jonathan's patch doesn't touch that, so I'm guessing 
you guys aren't too concerned with it.
