401 looks like you have either a wrong user/password for uploading to the
target maven repo (https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots)
or your username is not authorized to do the deploy/upload
you should have a ~/.m2/settings.xml file and can put something like:
<servers>
<server>
<id>central-snapshot</id>
<username>username-that-can-upload</username>
<password>its-password</password>
</server>
</servers>
and add this to your mvn deploy command:
-DrepositoryId=central-snapshot
