Now that I have got my head around how this works, I defiantly want to 
get this working on my windows box now.
I can see this working quite nicely with a Visual Studio plug-in.
  User adds a definition file to the solution.
  User right-clicks to activate the thrift plug-in, which executes thrift.
  Plug-in pulls in files that thrift it generates.
