I'm currently using Thrift (version 20080411-r788695M) and, based on section 15 (field) of the IDL[1], I'm filling out the "FieldReq?" part of the definition. Currently, doing this throws errors:
"optional keyword is ignored in argument lists." My question is: is the optional keyword obeyed in releases after the one I'm currently using? If not, will it be obeyed in later releases?
