Hi, Apologies if this has come up before, but I have ben unable to find anything on it.
Looking through the thunar code, whether a removeable drive is ejectable or not seems to be based on whether or not it is a "disc" (i.e. optical media) , not via storage.requires_eject from HAL as I would have expected. The problem (for me anyway) is that ipods *need* to be ejected and as they are not "discs" you have to drop to the command line to do it. This is ok, but not ideal or user friendly, for me, but for my GF... >From looking through the code this does not appear to be as trivial to implement as I expected, so I suspect that there must be other reasons why it has not been? Before I start hacking, are there any reasons why this has not been implemented? Anyway... thunar is the best filemanager I have used in 3-4 years of linux usage. Soooo much slicker than nautilus (well... nautilus are closely related to snails ;)). Cheers, Si. _______________________________________________ Thunar-dev mailing list Thunar-dev@xfce.org http://foo-projects.org/mailman/listinfo/thunar-dev
