Hi everyone, I use as my principal email address an American Yahoo free webmail account.
I am trying to setup my Thunderbird in French, and of course, I mix up everything ! So I have set up the account server like this : -Type server : Pop mail server -Server name : pop.mail.yahoo.com ; Port : 110 -User name : my user [email protected] And for the exit server SMTP : -Name server : localhost ; Port : 25 -Username : my username Which are the same as provided in the Webmail addon. Each time I try to have my messages from the server, I have this error message : "Echec de l'envoi du mot de passe. Le serveur de courrier pop.mail.yahoo.com a répondu : pop not allowed for user" (it means that the sending password has failed. The mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com has answered : pop not allowed for user). Any idea to manage this problem ?
