I've been experiencing this problem for several months, with the last
few versions of WebMail + Yahoo, but don't see any recent references
to it in the forum. Each time I request download from a Yahoo
account, or when it is automatically fetched according to the
account's server settings, the entire Thunderbird application locks up
for approximately 10 seconds. If I click somewhere in the application
window, trying to get a response, Vista indicates in the title bar
"(Not Resonding)" and greys out the window.

Does anyone know whether this is a problem unique to WeMail-Yahoo, all
WebMail extensions, or Thunderbird's extension and threading model in
general? Anything else I can do to troubleshoot it? It seems like an
operation on one mailbox shouldn't preempt everything else Thunderbird
is trying to do in unrelated areas.

It's very annoying when this happens in the middle of composing a
message, for example, as all keystrokes are dropped while the
application is locked up.

Currently Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (Win32), WebMail 1.3.2, WebMail-Yahoo
1.4.4, running on Windows Vista 32 SP2.
