There seems to be problem cause by change on the AOL site. Several of
us are having the same problem and not just affecting the mail.com
group; it is appearing to affect the AOL and Aim users too. The
extension may need updating reflecting this change. As an option you
can setup a regular pop3 or imap account as backup way of receiving
your mail; unless, your behind a firewall that blocks this.
In your error console under tools you probably is having error similar
to the following:
AOLPOP.js: loginHandler : Exception : Error.
Error message: error parsing AOL login web page
224
As for the eight different webmail smtp accounts with the same name,
your can change their names to reflect the different accounts; just
edit the description name of each one.
Examples: Webmail - Hotmail
Webmail - Yahoo
If you have duplicates accounts then it is probably safe to delete
those.( those with exact same info in them)
I can send you setup info for the pop3 and the imap account if you
wish.
