The same filetype (.xpi) is used for the add-ons for both Firefox and Thunderbird so it means that all .xpi files are assumed to be installed for Firefox which is quite silly when the add-on is intended for installation in Thunderbird.
To install the Thunderbird add-on try something like this: 1) Save the Thunderbird add-on to your desktop 2) Open Thunderbird 3) In Thunderbird Tools > Add-ons 4) Drag the the Thunderbird add-on from the Desktop onto the Thunderbird Add-on window and click on "Install" 5) Restart Thunderbird On Jan 8, 11:44 pm, bear420 <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying to set up a new computer.
