Under Account Settings make sure that the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) setting
agrees with the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) setting at the bottom of the Accounts
page where you specify localhost. Also, another member used port 1025 for
SMTP. Setting up this webmail for Yahoo is a struggle. Good luck.

I also am having problems with the T3 and yahoo mail. I am new to T3,
but the other email accounts are working, albeit, having intermittent
other email problems, but don't think they're related to the yahoo
webmail, so we'll deal with one thing at a time. I've followed
directions on setting up the servers from mozdev and downloaded the
yahoo add on, but still not working... it gives me the following
error:
Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server
localhost failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP
connections. Please verify that your SMTP server settings are correct
and try again, or contact the server administrator.
