I am also still having the comm error with all my aol/mail.com
accounts. After resolving the same issue a couple months ago, by
finally finding the captcha, the addon only worked for about two weeks
& then the comm errors returned. No more captchas or any other
interposing popups when I log in thru a browser. I kinda gave up on
this but decided today to check the forum and see if there was any
news.

Also, thanks Soul for the tip on resolving hotmail continually
downloading previous emails, that was another annoyance I have been
tolerating for some time.

And @gw, if you also have a live account configured in the hotmail
addon, you have to use the dropdown list and set the 'download unread
emails only' checkbox for both of them; in mine the live account was
at the top of the list, which I didn't notice at first, and I needed
to go back and check it for hotmail as well. Even so, it appears that
if you delete the message from tbird, hotmail will go ahead & download
it again anyway. Need to test it some more but so far that seems to
be the case.

Thanks to the webmail author for trying to keep up with all this.
Mail.com is advertising premium accounts that specifically mention
allowing pop access from Thunderbird, so aol may be working to prevent
access thru this addon.

Praying for progress & eventual good news, will check back later...
