Bad Vibes for Yahoo Mail

I have not been able to receive Yahoo Mail for several days. I
understand that Yahoo provides free IMAP service to portable devices.
Furthermore, Yahoo requires a none standard IMAP command to access
their service. Is anyone looking into providing this alternative for
Thunderbird?
