Yes sadly true. This is one reason I don't want to move from TB2, it works well and several of my extensions don't work on newer versions (not to mention I just don't like TB3+ it is more resource intensive although with indexing off and IMAP mirroring it is much better and TB2 does everything I want with the exception of webmail).
Guess I will have to run a portable verison of TB3+ just to use the extension then move my mail over to my TB2 profile when needed. Ah well at least it will be straight forward won't be a painful process.
