Thanks, KE4AVB. Unfortunately, that didn't solve my problem. Still get "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes from ....".
I guess I'll keep checking back to see if the webmail author has any additional updates.
