If you recently upgraded to TB12, You may need to delete and setup the 
account again. Here I lost access to ymail imap account because of a lost 
password. TB was trying to access the account but never gave error 
messages. I checked the saved passwords and the account's password was 
listed. TB never asked for a new password either. 

I deleted the account and setup it again and it started working again. And 
this time the saved password is listed when checked.
